What is Primordial Sound Meditation? It is a meditation technique originating in the ancient wisdom of India. Primordial sounds — the basic, most essential sounds of nature —are used to disconnect us from the activity of life. These individually selected sounds, known as mantras, are based on the vibration the universe was making at the moment of your birth.
There are two weekly two-hour sessions.
Session One: You will receive your personal Primordial Sound Mantra privately and then join the group. Once your Primordial Sound mantra has been determined, you will be taught how to use it on a daily basis to reawaken balance, tranquility, and creativity. You will integrate this practice into your daily routine. You will learn the principles of Primordial Sound Meditation and its history.
Session Two: You will learn the practical aspects of meditation, share your experiences, receive answers to any questions, and meditate together. Then you will learn about the different states of consciousness (awake, dream state, deep sleep) and the higher states of consciousness that can be achieved through a regular mantra meditation.
This workshop will teach the basic principles of meditation and the importance of the mantra you practice. You will learn to develop a personal practice using the Primordial Sound Meditation techniques. At the end of the sessions, you should be able to tap into higher states of consciousness to awaken your soul and your creativity.
